A dedicated family man very in touch with his community, and a friend to everyone, that was our Dazza. Always there to lend a hand he died helping a friend load a ute. Dazza was ex Navy serving on the Buccaneer amongst others, and his commitment to the RSL was well known in the community.
While living at Walgett Dazza helped organise the local Anzac Day and through his involvement with the Scouts helped to teach many a local lad how to tie a knot or two. Dazza worked at Walgett hospital until he had to retire to care for his wife Kristine who suffers from kidney disease, he was successful with everything he did in life and achieved most of his goals except one. He wanted to take Kristine to England.
Dazza leaves behind his wife, Kristine, his daughter Kyren and his two sons Shane and Brett.
Dazza was one of our own and we will remember him as a mate who would answer any call for a helping hand, a funny funny man with a couple of beverages under his belt, and a true blue Aussie. He will be very missed by us all.
