Wildcats AGM & Bike Show

Well another year has flown by & here we are again for the 2010 Walgett Bike Show. A huge thank-you to the many who travelled from far & wide again this year to support the local country show, your attendance was appreciated. On a glorious Friday afternoon we headed out to Burren Junction for a pre warm up for the weekend ahead full of fun & frivolity. Green Limousine was the band for the night & saw us dancing away well into the wee hours. Hopefully some photo’s are available for publication from another source, as us girls were to busy dancing to even think about our cameras LOL. Thank-you for a great night!

Saturday morning saw us (with a few sore heads) head back to Walgett to pretty up our gas hounds for the annual bike show. Over 50 bikes were entered in the various categories up for grabs & the results are as follows…

Junior Burnout Winner Sam McKenzie	Senior Burnout Winner Big Bad Bob (Buttercup)	Raffle for charity winner this year was Wayne Lawrence. We hope you love your basket of goodies.

A total of $1014.00 was raised & donated to the Burren VRA. The closing finale was Bob’s burnout, which scored an amazing 11/10… Giving the spectators something to cough & splutter about! Once the smoke cleared we headed back to the clubhouse for more fun & games after a feed of yummy stews & oysters. Our award ceremony was held in fine tradition, all tongue in cheek of course! At this point, I feel that I should mention that being appointed chief photographer for the day makes me “FULLY” appreciate the hard work that Crusty puts in, in his coverage of the events that he attends throughout the year.
