Shadow dropped in for some pictorial evidence of the Annual 'Brass Monkey Rally' held by Bikers Australia, Sydney Chapter.

The Sydney 'BA Chapter' celebrated its 25th Anniversary last year and once again 2010 rolled out to Rydal to set up for yet the 15th consecutive year.

The weather looked doubtful first up this morning, typical crisp Mountain air with some drizzle and fog as I headed in but mid morning saw the sun out and a turn for the best. You'll note the traditional coal fire was already well alight, a 'take no chances' decision had already been made. Temperatures here can drop 'many degrees' in a few minutes, as 'Mountain Men' know. Campsites under construction , individual wood gathering happening for the night ahead , bar crew at the ready and Sth Coast, Nowra's sensational music makers 'Steamy Windowz' setting up for a 'deciblatting' night of good song 'n sound.

As the bikes filtered in from the Great Western Highway the bike show entrants were busy positioning , spitting and polishing their hardware to face the judges decision. As always, the ever popular gymkhana events were to be held along with tattoo show and a 'horizontal bungee jump' Interesting !

The pictures I hope will give you the general feel and display the level of effort the BA riders put into this popular rally, for those attending.

I didn't have more time to spend and capture more of the fun and games, as has been said before, the Sun he drops, and Shadow(s) go.

Well done 'BA Sydney' - will sure be a big night out Rydal way - THE MOUNTAIN IS ABOUT TO ROCK !!
