It started off to be a beautiful morning up we get to make sure that our bikes are saddled up and ready to go. Down stairs I run with my jacket on and boots in hand went to tie on my swag and what do I find???? A broken down bike!!!! Now what do I do? Well in comes my knight in shining armour and says “your going”! And that was that so I jumped on the back of his bike and off we go.

The day was absolutely beautiful we pulled up at the Imperial Pub in Wee Waa first stop and met up with Fu. After a little refreshment we proceeded to Narrabri Namoi Pub where we met up with the rest of the crew. We had a great lunch there they always look after us well so off we go again on the way to Bingara next stop. But on the way we encountered another little heart-stopping god damn bike stopper. A bloody flat tyre!!!!! Well if its not one thing its another...if only someone had checked his back tyre before we left or did he???? Oh well looks like I’m gonna need another knight for another rescue and who should it be but good old Fu jumps on his bike and off he goes at a hundred miles an hour after a big tyre truck that just passed us and he manages to lasso him down and bring him all the way back. Good on ya mate! so as you can see from the photos the bike gets a lift on to Bingara pub.

We had just a few more refreshments for the day seeing as we were now on four wheels instead of two. An interesting thing happened while we were there; a certain person decided that he would use his mobile phone while standing inside a Telstra phone booth! Guess he was having withdrawals or something. What a day! It all ended well in the end we all had a great night out at Pally and partied on at the Golden Grain Hotel. They had a young band playing for the night and they were fantastic.

Tallie’s bike gets to go all the way to Moree to get a new tyre and its back the next morning for us to be on our way home now that’s service for you.

Thanks guys for a great ride and all your help on the run.   A great run to add onto calendars for next year.
