The Rotary Club of Warwick
will be holding this one at the Warwick Show Grounds. Gates open from 12
pm Friday with bar and catering all weekend. Live entertainment Friday and
Saturday night. Dice run departs 10am sharp Saturday. $1000 for best
total, $300 for second and $200 for third. Prizes for high and low roll at
each stop. Saturday nights entertainment includes the drawing of the Win A
Harley art union. If winner is present there is a $5000 bonus gift voucher
from Boyd Yung Motorcycles. $50 a ticket with only 2000 tickets available.

At Sydney's Eastern Creek Raceway. The Barry Sheene Festival of Speed is much more than just a motorcycle race. It's a celebration of the life of Barry Sheene and the spirit of motorcycling. With over 250 competitors and 300 bikes competing there'll be close and action packed racing all the way through the field. Period 3 Classic (1946 - 1962), Period 4 Post Classic (1963 - 1972), Period 5 Forgotten Era (1973 - 1980), New Era (1981 - 1989), Pre Modern (1990 - 1995) and Sidecars will represent over 60 years of motorcycle racing from hand shift Indians up to the chest thumping beasts of the Forgotten Era class through to the Superbikes of the 80s and 90s with exotic two stroke GP machinery scattered in between. Creek Hotel 5kms north Childers on the Bruce highway. Sign up from 9am,
run leaves 11 am sharp $10 per hand with $250 best hand and $50 worst hand

day. After run party, live band, hot meals, cold drinks, burnouts, free

community, then join the Long Ride and visit places you have never been,
make new friends and above all make an impact. The long Ride 2010 begins
in Sydney on Saturday 01 May 2010 and finishes in Darwin on Saturday 08
May 2010. There will be 5 different routes winding to Darwin with riders
meeting up in Charleville (VIC,NSW QLD), Tennant Creek (SA, VIC, NSW QLD)
and Katherine when the WA riders meet up to make a most memorable ride.

Historic Winton is Australia's premier Historic Racing event. Always on the last full weekend in May. Historic Winton is run by the Austin 7 Club but is unique in that it also runs motorcycles. Over 250 Historic racing cars and over 100 bikes, including sidecars compete at this event. 44 events are held over the two days. A must see on the Australian Historic Racing & Motor Sport calendar. Historic Winton is held at Winton Motor Raceway, around 200 km North-East of Melbourne on the old Hume Highway - about 10k North of Benalla & 25k south of Wangaratta. The circuit is located in a picturesque part of country Victoria, and is unique in that all parts of the circuit can be seen from any vantage point. |

M.O.T.A. (Mob Of Touring Arseholes) invites you to attend their "Up the Creek Rally", held at the Jung Recreational Reserve. A great site under the gums. The rally is fully catered, there will be a Saturday afternoon gymkharna and a band Saturday night. The usual rally awards and raffles however badges are limited.
