Wagga said to meet him in Dubbo, so he ended up in Forbes and I went to West Wyalong. Seemed a good start to a ride south! Gina, Rod, Barney, Wagga and myself met the next morning for breakfast and decided to take a detour via Wagga's Wagga Wagga and then a run to Albury by various back roads. All good so far. Then a new rear tyre at CJ's in Albury. Thanks guys, appreciated that! Anyone in their area call in....they do it well there! A bit of a meander down the mighty Murray to Echuca and a ride on a river boat. All good so far! Another wander and Horsham saw our arrival in good time and all in great riding weather!

Went to the showground and registered then settled in. Friday night was pretty quiet as they tend to be and Saturday dawned to a wet one. The worst day of the ride which was unfortunate for the organisers and riders alike. Didn't seem to matter though, everyone was there for a good time and they did the traditional Thunder Ride and then a gymkhana of sorts in the afternoon. Sorry, but no pics of that except the Bungee Pull as we were told that insurance etc had cancelled the gymkhana. They changed their minds apparently, and as a result there were a few that unfortunately missed out.

Saturday night arrived and they put on a good spread and plenty of it. Not that anyone ever goes for the food, but wobetide the Chapter that stuffs that bit up!

The band played and the party was a good one and it was with a smile we rode out the next morning via The Grampian Ranges to head home. Quick run up the Great Ocean Road and then we adjusted and headed north. A 1500 km ride turned into about 3500, but hey.....isn't that what it's all about?

Well done guys overall, after all any excuse is a good one to ride in that kind of weather!

One thing though, IF YOU WANT TO WEAR ROCKERS THEN JOIN A 1% CLUB and stop being pretenders! Ulysses have banned this for solid reasons and I like many others do not like being put in a bad position by wankers. It's time HOG Australia took a stand on this. Ulysses have and now ban members from wearing them, throwing them out of the club if they do. Stop endangering the safety of others!

no thanks, don't need this!
