Left Saturday morning YAK YAK YAK is it going to rain or not? Well i put the wet weathers on. This is my Rob's first first rally he rode to. Rob on the Kwaka 1987 chook chaser and me on the Softail Harley.

Finally reaching Long Flat with only 5 minutes of rain the sky cleared enough and the party started.

The Show and Shine was small, but what was there was pure class.

There was such a mixture of bikes. You name it, it was there. It was clear it didn't matter what you rode as long as you were there. The Ozbike crew were there in full force.

Talking to norm I found out the money raised from this rally goes back into the local community. It's good to see bikers and the local community working together and for a good cause.

As the night grew more and more people arrived. Some I spoke to came from Canberra and as far away as the Sunshine Coast. (Good on you boys from AMC!!!)

It's burnout time with a few of the boys. Garry you did it again. Well done!

The tyre marks tell the story and Garry smoked and danced his bike all over the road. A real crowd pleaser.

The local Rotary Club did all the cooking on site. Thanks guys and their mums!

Well I ran out of battery for the wet t-shirt comp. I can tell you guys there were 4 girls then 5. You should have been there for the rest!

As the night wound up so did we.

The weather was kind to us and even in the morning people weren't in a hurry to leave. It's a shame Merriwa River Rally and Cowra have both shut ship. These rallies were also run by social clubs not bikers clubs. Lets not lose anymore rallies, keep supporting them and go! Thanks to Lyn & her hubby, Norm & the rest of the Shed Social Community. Another enjoyable Rally.

Gina

P.S. Security & I are getting to know each other real well now!
