Rossco's 50th!

Well what could a bloke do! Better come over and help me drink some ale he said, and I got some prawns too. So yup, like flies to a barbeque we gathered round the smoke. Must have had a bad prawn in there though. The next morning was pretty cruel! A few pics were taken including the Wendy Series. Yup, she hadda have an excuse to get a cuddle outa everyone! Check that drum out! What a ripper.

Saturday morning saw us saddle up and head on out of town. Charlie couldn't get his bike to go but not a worry, he had backup! Saddle sore and weary (well it was about 40ks) we hit Nundle for lunch. Departed there and headed for Quirindi, sending a well behaved mob of about 800 head of cattle about 10 ks in either direction along the way, and then out through Spring Ridge and on to Binnaway for the night.

Nearly made it in fine style 'cept Cyclone got in a bit of loose gravel and decided he wanted to put his feet up on the side of the road for a rest. Trouble was Wagga didn't know the new plan and ran over him as well. Just gotta love bike people. Cameras were aimed and some discussion was had trying to work out how many points the roadkill would be worth, knew his name and all that, but the bugga wouldn't die, so concern immediately turned to the bike and how badly damaged it was! Threw Charlie on Cyclone's bike and we finally made it to Binnaway for the night where they threw some hillbilly entertainment on for us and the cake went round the pub. Gotta admit, after the night before we were all a little humble. They looked after us a treat though and Sunday morning saw us heading off after a big breakfast in all directions. Thanks Rossco! A very generous and well planned event! We gotta wait 10 more years for the next one????????
